Answer's a 24-hour consumer hotline that provides support for California's investor-owned energy customers who need assistance identifying support programs to lower utility bills, or guidance on identifying assistance programs that help with outstanding balances. Help's customers who are facing issues with their utility company and need support in their advocacy to resolve issues related to their utility service. Works at the intersection of regulatory and legislative policy ensuring that customers of California's major investor-owned utilities receive quality affordable energy, phone and broadband. Agency does not provide direct financial assistance.
