Distributes food to over 180 charitable agencies throughout Contra Costa and Solano counties, including soup kitchens and emergency food pantries, which provide free food to county residents in crisis situations, and to agencies such as low-income child care centers and schools for the disabled that prepare meals for a particular group of disadvantaged individuals. Offers Senior Food Program which provides supplemental food items twice a month to low-income seniors, age 55 and over. Provides 15-25 pounds of fresh produce twice per month to qualified low income families at various distribution sites.
