CSW sends a completed Transitional Independent Living Plan and SOC158A to ILSP for intake to start services

Service area

Contra Costa County
Provides workshops and services to older youth in the foster care system in preparation for emancipation. Youth remain eligible to receive after care services until their 21st birthday. Participants learn financial literacy, education and vocational resources, referrals to Transitional Housing Programs (dependent on age), apply for college and fill out job applications. Website has extensive information for foster youth leaving the foster care system.
