Provides registration, inspection and permitting of specified medical waste generators, including on site treatment operations and small volume transportation by generators of their own waste. Oversee's tattooing, body piercing and permanent cosmetics inspections and permitting for Body Art practitioners. Performs plan/check for new or remodeling body arts facilities. Services are available to the medical community, Body Art Practitioners, and private citizens. Program is the local enforcement agency for medical waste and bio hazardous waste generators.
