Eviction Prevention Assistance | Contra Costa Senior Legal Services
Provides free legal services for Contra Costa seniors age 60+ including advice, counsel and representation in civil legal matters, such as: elder abuse, consumer matters, housing, income maintenance as well as Advance Health Care Directives and Durable Power of Attorney. Special Free Wills Clinic and Consult-an-Attorney Programs conducted at selected Senior Centers throughout the County; Pro Bono Program conducted to assist in placing eligible clients with private attorneys where possible. Contra Costa Senior Legal Services does not provide assistance in Criminal Law, Family Law (with the exception of elder abuse), Immigration Law, Personal Injury, Probate or Tax matters. Provides legal information and conducts outreach on issues such as Advance Health Care Directives, Powers of Attorney, and Prevention of Elder Abuse.
