Single victims of DV or IPV or victims with children who are survivors of domestic violence, and no longer in imminent danger, and are in need of transitional housing support.

Application process
Call for appointment/services; residents will be screened via phone for shelter and receive a full intake/orientation on-site upon acceptance to shelter. Eligible transitional housing applicants will participate in an interview process.
Fees
Residents pay 30% of their income towards their rent.

Provides a 24-bed space shelter for single women and children and a 7 unit transitional housing program. Offers supportive programming on-site to all residents which includes domestic violence support group, parenting group, vocational/life skills and community meetings. Provides age-appropriate and trauma-informed programming for children as well.

STAND For Families Free Of Violence
Provides support, shelter and training to people who are abused, treatment programs to people who abuse, and preventive education programs to youth, children and adults who might experience abuse in the future. These services fall under three categories: Intervention, Treatment and Prevention. STAND! has offices in Central, East and West Counties, as well as services and shelters at confidential locations. Volunteers are used extensively. Some volunteer opportunities do not require training, while others require a 40-hour course on domestic violence.
