Provides a service which matches volunteers to bring pets, music or serve as friendly one-on-one companions to lonely individuals living in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities in Contra Costa County. Organizes diverse opportunities year round including holidays for volunteers to socialize and share their time, personal stories and/or artistic gifts with elderly or disabled individuals (who have few/no visitors) living in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
