WestCAT is a service of the Western Contra Costa Transit Authority, which provides a network of local and express bus routes throughout west Contra Costa County: serving the cities of Pinole and Hercules and the unincorporated communites of Montalvin Manor, Tara Hills, Bayview, Rodeo, Crockett, and Port Costa. The express bus routes operate to and from the El Cerrito del Norte BART station 7 days a week. In addition, WestCAT operates regional service between Martinez and the Hercules Transit Center and between the Hercules Transit Center and Contra Costa College. Also, WestCAT operates transbay bus service between the Hercules Transit Center and the San Francisco Transbay Terminal, called the Lynx.
