Description

Provides assistance to disaster victims of fires and natural disasters and to military personnel and their families. Services include food, clothing, shelter, and medical supplies based on verified need, and counseling/crisis intervention. Offers Sound the Alarm program which installs free smoke alarms in homes while educating the residents about home fire safety and earthquake safety. Serves clients who cannot afford to purchase smoke alarms or are physically unable to install a smoke alarm.

Provides disaster victims food, clothing, shelter, and medical supplies based on verified need, counseling/crisis intervention. Provides worldwide emergency communication services to military personnel and their families. Provides international tracing regarding location, health and welfare of relatives living abroad. Offers a variety of classes: disaster planning and preparedness, first aid, CPR (English and Spanish), small craft and water safety, lifesaving and Adapted Aquatics (a swimming program for the disabled), and refugee relocation assistance. Speakers are available on any of these topics.
