Description

Provides phone support for families or friends who lost a loved one through homicide. Provides a telephone network of support, supplies information about the grief process, organizes a speakers bureau and provides accompaniment for survivors who must attend court proceedings.

National Parents of Murdered Children

Provides emotional support for parents, families and friends of murdered loved ones, links survivors with others in the same vicinity who have survived their loved one's murder and provide training to professionals in such fields as law enforcement, mental health, social work, community services, law, criminal justice, medicine, education, religion, the media and mortuary science, who are interested in learning more about survivors of homicide victims and the aftermath of murder.
