Provides education, information, socialization and services for visually impaired or blind individuals age 55+. Provides home visits to assist those with reduced vision in coping with the problems of daily living, and support groups in El Cerrito and Pittsburg. Offers an adult day program at site Tuesdays. Provides free Early Detection program at various senior sites; service is free for elders. Provides referrals to eye exam and glasses at low cost or no cost for seniors with no vision insurance and individuals with Medicare.
