Single adults living in Contra Costa County who are at imminent risk of becoming homeless within 14 days.

Valid identification required. California legal status is not required.

Application process

Referrals through 211. If a CARE Center encounters an individual who is at imminent risk, will refer individual to 211 for referral. 211 provides triage tool.

Description

Provides housing problem-solving and/or one time financial assistance to assist individuals in remaining in safe and stable housing. Referrals through 211. If a CARE Center encounters an individual who is at imminent risk, will refer individual to 211 for referral. 211 provides triage tool.

Provides a variety of services programs including counseling, immigration and refugee services (including legal services), youth services, housing and foreclosure counseling, senior services, limited emergency rental assistance, early childhood education support, and parish and community outreach. Many of the programs have offices in Contra Costa County.
