Job Training Formats | Treasure Island Job Corps Center

Provides a residential career and job training program for transitional aged youth ages 16 to 24. Participating clients can train in a variety of high-growth career areas including medical, culinary, and carpentry . All training programs are hands-on, with real work environments. Students also have access to training and academic classes with local community colleges and/or technical institutions through partnerships with the Job Corps Centers.

Jobs include a variety of outdoor work, including landscaping, trail building, tree planting, brush clearance, minor construction work, wildlife habitat improvement, flood prevention and more. The CCC responds to natural disasters and other emergencies.
