Provides a national, 24-hour, and toll-free suicide prevention service to those in suicidal crisis who are seeking help. Individuals seeking help can dial 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or simple 3 digit number 9-8-8 and are routed to the closest possible provider of mental health and suicide prevention services. The Contra Costa Crisis Center is part of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network that answers for Contra Costa County. .
