Juvenile Diversion | Youth Justice Program - RYSE Youth Center

Offers support to youth navigating the juvenile system with diversion classes, Know Your Rights workshops and community service opportunities for court ordered requirement. May be referred through probation counselor, court or parents who need help with their adolescent. Diversion program is 8 weeks and there are three groups throughout the year.

Provides juvenile and adult probation services to residents of Contra Costa County. Juvenile probation services include intake, investigation, supervision, placement and sealing of juvenile records. Adult probation services include investigative services which provide information to the court to determine if convicted or accused defendants can benefit from probation supervision, and supervision of convicted or diverted clients to implement the specific and general conditions of probation as imposed by the Courts.

Provides a maximum-security detention facility, for juvenile clients up to age 18. Residents are classified and assigned to housing units based on gender, age, offense, and special needs. Contra Costa Office of Education operates McKinley School on site.
