Provides free, immediate help to youth ages 0-17, including immediate housing in a foster home, crisis counseling, family mediation, transportation and referrals. Center is a Safe Place site. If a longer stay is needed, the youth would likely be placed in a foster home for shelter. SAFE Place is not a long-term shelter.

Offers sliding scale mediation services to help individuals find mutually fair and lasting solutions to conflict and disputes between, family members, elders, HOA's/neighborhood associations, landlords and tenants, merchants, consumers, employees and employers in Contra Costa. It is an informal service that will not result in court or police records. Mediators are trained volunteer community members.
