Restaurant/Food Sanitation Enforcement | Environmental Health Division

Ensures that all construction or remodeling of food and recreational health facilities (including swimming pools, spas, spray parks and water parks) conform with health, safety and sanitation requirements. Environmental Health Division regularly inspects all retail food facilities (businesses or organizations that sell or give away food) to ensure that they meet safety and cleanliness regulations. Inspections can occur at any time. Receives and investigates consumer complaints regarding a suspected foodborne / waterborne illness within restaurants and other food facilities. Projects that require plan review include; new construction or remodeling of a food facility or recreational health facility, replacement or installation of hood or equipment, replacement or installation of floors/walls/ceilings, modifications to sumps, plumbing or equipment in swimming pool/spa facilities Website has requirements and information on all types of facilities, fee schedule and types of deposits.
