Provides free Early Detection program at various sites; service is free for adults. Provides referrals to eye exams and glasses at low cost or no cost for individuals with no vision insurance coverage and individuals on Medicare.

Distributes Eyes of Hope gift certificates to low-income children through VSP's network of community partners. Parents and guardians interested in seeking assistance through the Eyes of Hope program must work through the VSP Provider. VSP does not issue gift certificates directly to the public. The local providers are listed on the website. School nurse and some youth programs may have applications and be able to provide assistance.
