Provides HUD-subsidized independent living apartments, all low income, for seniors 62+ or adults with mobility impairments.

Provides services that include residential support in the community and day programs to people with developmental disabilities, age 18+ including licensed group homes in Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek, supported and independent living services to residents in apartments and homes in Central and East Contra Costa, and a vocational and developmental day program. Also provides various employment opportunities and job search assistance.

Provides referrals to eye exams and glasses at low cost or no cost for individuals with no vision insurance coverage and individuals on Medicare; call number to locate service provider in area.

Provides a residential setting for independent living skills training, including orientation and mobility skills, vocational readiness and pre-vocational skills for visually disabled individuals who have the potential for living independently. Instruction offered in cooking, cleaning, care of clothing, financial management, adaptive technology, communication, social and recreational skills and other related living skills. Length of time in program determined by individual need, but does not exceed one year. Services open to people from other states.

Acquires, rehabilitates, builds and manages affordable housing in Alameda County and Contra Costa County for low to very low-income individuals and families. Some rental units have requirements such as age, dependent children, special needs, or veteran eligibility in addition to income.

Provides Assisted Living Waiver to move Medi-Cal patients from Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) to Community Assisted Living Facilities that accept the waiver.
