Provides team-based mental health and care coordination for children, including those in foster care or reunification, supporting the child's significant needs. Available to children up to six years old with Contra Costa County Medi-Cal.

Intensive Family Reunification Services | Foster Family Program - Northern California Family Center

Recruits and provides foster family certification to enable families to be eligible to provide a crisis home for youth needing a safe environment for youths, ages 0 to 17, who are experiencing crisis while NCFC counselors work with the youth and family to reunite them, or develop mutually agreed upon alternatives. Also provides Long-term Foster care for children referred by Social Services in Contra Costa, Alameda, and Solano counties. To be eligible, family must possess the ability to relate effectively to and adequately supervise youth, have space to temporarily house one or more young people, possess the ability to be certified by the NCFC as a Foster Family, and pass child abuse and criminal background checks.
