Provides rapid response, legal services, and community education project to support safety and justice for immigrant families in Contra Costa County. In partnership with Contra Costa County, and community-based organizations, provides culturally competent, no-cost rapid response support, legal defense services, and immigrant rights education and training to support families impacted by anti-immigrant policies and practices affecting Contra Costa County residents.

Provides free legal services for Contra Costa seniors age 60+ including advice, counsel and representation in civil legal matters, such as: elder abuse, consumer matters, housing, income maintenance as well as advance health care directives and durable power of attorney. Special Free Wills Clinic and Consult-an-Attorney Programs conducted at selected Senior Centers throughout the County; Pro Bono Program conducted to assist in placing eligible clients with private attorneys where possible. Contra Costa Senior Legal Services does not provide assistance in Criminal Law, Family Law (with the exception of elder abuse), Immigration Law, Personal Injury, Probate or Tax matters. Provides legal information and provides presentations to community groups Advance Health Care Directives, Powers of Attorney, and Prevention of Elder Abuse.

Provides comprehensive information victims compensation, victims' rights in the Justice System, restitution, civil suits, right to speak at sentencing and parole board hearings, as well as information on specific rights of victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, child abuse, and abuse against disabled. Program is administered by the McGeorge School of Law of Pacific University. Publishes and distributes free information brochures on victim's rights. Wesite has extensive information.

Provides advice and counseling by phone, and, when appropriate, referrals to other attorneys and non-profit legal organizations. Specializes in discrimination of women and girls in employment and education including unequal pay, sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, family medical leave issues, different treatment at work or school due to gender.

Provides various legal services via remote advocacy. Housing, DV Restraining Order and Consumer clinics are available via remote clinics. Provides free civil legal advice, counsel and representation to low-income individuals in four areas: Housing, Public Benefits, Family Law for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and Consumer.

Provides community with Immigration Rapid Response hotline information for various counties and advocates/provides education on what to do in the event of an immigration arrest.

Provides a web based service to help people find assistance and information, work better with an attorney, and represent themselves in some legal matters. Some of the areas for legal information involve hundreds of tools, resources and links for legal assistance in the areas needed by self-represented litigants, including divorce, domestic violence, child custody/support, traffic, and claims. It includes links to legal services organizations and lawyer referral programs where litigants can get legal advice and additional assistance, along with easy to understand descriptions of court proceeding, and step by step guides to court forms.

Provides an online toolkit to help individuals stay in their homes, by fighting eviction and debt. Online tool has extensive information to support individuals who need to respond to an unlawful detainer or small claims lawsuits. Connects users to tenant organizations across California, as well as tenant unions and build collective power over both landlords and government.

Offers advice, guidance, and referrals so that low-income immigrants and their families can better understand their constitutional rights and navigating legal processes. Engages in lawsuits that defend the fundamental and constitutional rights of all Americans, policy analysis and advocacy as well as strategic communications. Has limited capacity to take on legal cases.

Provides outreach and schedules free consultation appointments. Partners with Bay Area Legal Aid, East Bay Alliance for a Sustainable Economy, and Centro Legal de la Raza to offer legal services by phone at no cost. Provides legal assistance with citizenship applications, Residency (Green Card) and DACA renewals.
