Offers crisis intervention counseling on many issues including family problems, sexual assault, eating disorders, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, suicide and more. Provides hotline runaway and homeless youth offering shelter options, mediation, information and referral, and phone or in-person counseling. Provides free, immediate help to youth ages 0-17, including immediate housing in a foster home, crisis counseling, family mediation, transportation and referrals. Center is a Safe Place site. If a longer stay is needed, the youth would likely be placed in a foster home for shelter. SAFE Place is not a long-term shelter.

Provides telephone and email peer-counseling as well as factual LGBTQ information and local resources for cities and towns across the United States. Callers of all ages are able to talk about coming-out issues, relationship concerns, HIV/AIDS anxiety, safer-sex information and many other topics. Maintains a database that contains information with LGBTQ information and local resources across the United States. Also has a separate Youth Talkline manned by volunteers who are in their teens and early twenties that speak with other teens and young adults up to the age of 25 about LGBTQ issues and concerns. Youth chatrooms and peer support chat is also available online.
