Answer's a 24-hour consumer hotline that provides support for California's investor-owned energy customers who need assistance identifying support programs to lower utility bills, or guidance on identifying assistance programs that help with outstanding balances. Help's customers who are facing issues with their utility company and need support in their advocacy to resolve issues related to their utility service. Works at the intersection of regulatory and legislative policy ensuring that customers of California's major investor-owned utilities receive quality affordable energy, phone and broadband. Agency does not provide direct financial assistance.

Provides literature and presentations to various groups and school children of 12 or more people. The presentations can provide general District information or tailored information for a specific city or vector and the presentations can be provided in person or virtually. Public Affairs Department personnel also participate in a variety of events, workshops, and community discussions.

Provides a therapist referral service of gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual therapists via online, offers seminars, consultations, and speakers by members on such LBGTQ-related topics as homophobia, coming out, gay marriage, HIV/AIDS, alternative families, parenting, gender identity, S/M/B/D, as well as how anxiety and depression affect our community.
