If a CARE Center encounters an individual who is at imminent risk, will refer individual to 211 for referral. 211 provides triage tool.

Provides volunteers, age 18+, for friendly visits and phone calls to home-bound and frail elderly offering friendship, socialization, personal support, companionship and practical help in order to help relieve loneliness and isolation. Volunteers provide one or more hours service per week. Assist seniors by picking up groceries and medications.

Contra Costa Senior Legal Services does not provide assistance in Criminal Law, Family Law (with the exception of elder abuse), Immigration Law, Personal Injury, Probate or Tax matters. Grants clients who are experiencing a financial hardship with partial payment assistance for utility, gas, food, furniture, vehicle registration, drivers license fees and others. Grant amounts vary by emergency and need.
