Supported Employment: Offers a program which supports participants to obtain and maintain competitive integrated employment in the field of their choice. Participants receive individualized on-the-job coaching, including: full-time support through the training process that fades as the job and skills needed are learned; ongoing supports include advocacy with management; interpersonal skills in the workplace; learning new or additional work tasks; and managing stress. Employment Training Program: Provides a short-term program designed to provide participants with the skills, tools, and hands-on experience needed to gain competitive and integrated employment. In this program, participants will be supported to identify their desired job or career, hands-on learning and experience which will give skills necessary to be successful in that career, and job search support to get a job.

Provides outpatient adolescent mental health counseling to Contra Costa County residents ages 0-17 with full scope Medi-Cal. Does not provide psychiatric services.

Works in partnership with the emergency management agencies of Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada, as well as the territories of American Samoa and Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Federated States of Micronesia to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters.

Provides needs based services which may include; utility and financial assistance, and vouchers for clothing that can be used in lieu of cash at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores for discounted clothing and furniture.

Provides free, confidential, one-on-one basic instruction in reading, writing, and spelling to adults who can converse in English. Instruction is provided by trained volunteers. Adult learner/tutor pairs meet twice a week, for an hour and a half each time at libraries or other public locations throughout Contra Costa County.

Maintains a list of Medi-Cal prenatal providers in Contra Costa County. The providers offer an Initial assessment, trimester reassessments, postpartum assessment, interventions and follow-up services in obstetrics, nutrition, health education, psychosocial services, individual case coordination, prenatal vitamin/mineral supplements, and referrals to related services. Approved provider list is available online.

Provides administration over all San Pablo city parks and recreational activities, art gallery, museums and community centers. Offers summer sports camp, virtual preschool programming, and a variety of classes for children, teens, and adutls including cooking, dance, exercise, martial arts, yoga, tai chi and sports.

Provides abortion services, birth control services, emergency contraception, HIV testing, HPV & hepatitis vaccines, LGBT services, men's health services, patient education, pregnancy testing, options & services, STD testing & treatment, and women's health services including breast and cervical cancer exams.

Provides a variety of support options for individuals with glaucoma: online chat groups, online support groups, information on financial assistance for care and medication, website has extensive information on glaucoma and of living with glaucoma. Low vision resources also available online. Funds research programs dedicated to finding a cure for glaucoma.

Provides groceries to low-income seniors 55+. Individuals receive a bag with fresh fruit and vegetables, and canned food. To apply, pick up an application at the distribution site or contact the Food Bank.

Provides advocacy, client program planning, coordination of generic services, and consultation. Provides case management services through its own units and through two other contracted delegate agencies, La Familia Counseling Services and Asian Community Mental Health Services. An active client of the Regional Center must participate, at a minimum, in planning meetings to develop or revise an Individual Program Plan (IPP), or an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for a child under 3 years of age. An IPP identifies services and plans necessary for a client to achieve agreed upon objectives.

Provides domestic violence intervention which consists of crisis and peer counseling, risk assessment, safety planning, domestic violence education, court accompaniment, legal advocacy and referrals, peer support groups and other related support resources for the clients and their family. STAND! has offices in Central, East and West counties, as well as services and shelters at confidential locations. Volunteers are used extensively.

Provides free legal services to help low and moderate income residents address discrimination and other problems in accessing financial services which consist of bank accounts, loans, debt collection, credit reporting problems, estate planning, foreclosure prevention and homeowner problems including escrow and HOA issues.

Provides current Contra Costa County Medi-Cal and CalFresh clients with assistance reporting Medi-Cal and CalFresh changes (such as a new address, income, newborn, etc.), answers about benefits, and assistance completing forms. Offers benefit information for dental care.

Provides immunization clinics which offer vaccines mainly for community members who don't have health insurance and children eligible for the free Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. Program does not accept private health insurance (i.e. Blue Shield, Kaiser). Patients must contact regular medical provider for vaccines. Immunization clinics offer: All doctor-recommended and school-required vaccines, COVID-19 vaccine, Mpox vaccine, and Flu vaccine.

Provides a variety of services for burn/fire survivors including: camps for children, young adults and adults supportive services, back-to-school program to help burn survivors with scars return to school, workshops and conferences. Also provides burn survivors with resources information and when possible some financial assistance if needed. Program connects burn survivors to facilitated peer support.

Offers behavioral therapy provided by a licensed clinical social worker and psychiatrist. Services includes; individual, family, adolescent counseling, eating disorders, sexual orientation counseling, psychiatric evaluations, Autism therapy and ADHD.

Provides 24-hour non-medical detoxification for women. Program includes a 30-90 day residential substance abuse treatment, an ongoing alcohol recovery program, one-on-one planning for recovery from alcohol and drug problems, and AA/NA meetings. The center is licensed and certified by the State of California, offering a social model alcohol detoxification program. Provides residential treatment program for women and pregnant women in the first two trimesters of pregnancy with alcohol and drug-related problems and education and supportive recovery services. Two detox beds available.

Assists individuals with disabilities obtain and retain employment and maximize their ability to live independently in their communities by providing vocational rehabilitation services to eligible individuals and ADA technical assistance. Also provides training to businesses around diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Collaborates with local county resources to provide information and referral services to assist individuals with disabilities live active, independent lives.

Serves lunch meals to seniors age 60+ who call in advance to make a reservation.

Serves as a cooling center during summer heatwave. Clients must call to confirm open hours.

Arranges free, non-emergency air transportation donated by volunteer pilots in small, private planes for medical patients to and from their treatment centers. Offers "compassion flights" for non-patients traveling for reasons such as, but not limited to, visiting a terminally ill family member, domestic violence relocation, and special needs camps. Does not fly for funerals and is not an "air ambulance."

Provides human trafficking prevention education and outreach and provides  crisis intervention for victims of human trafficking.

Provides free education and life enhancing activities for the blind/low vision community including a computer lab, braille services, social events and classes.
