Serves as a community center offering English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, religious and social events, and educational talks on immigrant issues. Transitional Housing/Shelter | Veterans Accession House

Contracted through the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide service intensive transitional housing for homeless and at-risk single male veterans. VAH offers communal living, meals, common area TV, computer systems and access to surround internet WiFi. Residents meet weekly with an assigned case manager to develop an individualized service plan, unique to the needs of each Veteran, i.e. referral to legal aid and support in court matters. Case managers assists veterans with online applications for benefits, services and pensions as well as budget management and credit repair strategies.
