Provides assistance with completion of applications for MediCal, CalFresh, applications for financial assistance programs, Covered CA, referrals to Black Infant Health, PRUCOL application assistance, linkage to SSI/SSDI, long term disability and referrals and navigation to community resources. Offers medical care coordination to assist patients with scheduling appointments. Some rental and utility navigation assistance available dependent upon clients situation.

Offers curb-to-curb transportation in partnership with Lyft. R-Transit clients receive a subsidy to use Lyft for on-demand trips in the cities of Richmond, El Cerrito, North Richmond, El Sobrante, Kensington, San Pablo, and Pinole. RAPID will also expand service to and from the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Veterans hospital in Martinez, CA. Lyft driver is not required to assist passenger. Payment must be made directly to Lyft in form of credit/debit card, or prepaid debit card.

Provides income-eligible Contra Costa County residents with personalized energy upgrade recommendations and support. Participants can receive upgrades such as insulation, duct sealing, and air leak repairs, which can also help lower energy bills.

Health Care for the Homeless is working closely with CORE teams to provide health care in specific locations. Callers must check website for location and days of clinics.

Provides administration over all city parks and recreational activities, aquatic facilities and community centers. All parks are open from sunrise to sunset. Park restrictions are listed online including special reservations.
