Provides a free program available to any family with a child under 6 in Contra Costa County. The program provides free parent community groups (twice monthly) and home-based support for up to six weeks. Home-based support can be in person or on video, and is specific to everyday moments in a family's life: i.e. navigating nap time, dealing with tantrums, helping with playtime or any everyday moment. A specialist works one-on-one with the family, to help discover how to support the child's development in any moment together. Everyday Moments Home-Based Support is provided by specialists from We Care Services for Children, Early Childhood Mental Health Program, and the Lynn Center. Parent community groups are provided by C.O.P.E. Family Support Center. The parent community groups are held twice per month online, where parents can learn about child development and share stories, wisdom, and ask questions. Groups offer parent-to-parent networking, and learning about ways to support the child. Attend only one, or attend the groups regularly, all free to any Contra Costa County resident with a child under six.

Provides monthly virtual support group for mental health consumers, family, and friends who are interested in writing and sharing with others to help individuals process emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Individuals share writings and receive supportive feedback.

Provides a variety of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs, business counseling to small business owners or potential owners, and business workshops to teach the basics of starting, improving a small business and international trade. Due to Coronavirus COVID-19, limited in-person visits by appointment only. Provides vocational classes in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, A+ Preparation, Computer Repair, ABE preparation, GED preparation. Provides green technology courses including, solar installation, weatherization course, energy audits and energy efficiency education. Offers employment services such as job placement, job development, job counseling and job referral. Provides specific courses to help veterans.

Provides a free once day pet clinic for individuals experiencing homelessness and have a pet. Services included consist of wellness checks, license and microchips, basic supplies, and parasite medicine and prevention. A veterinarian will also be on site. Pet friendly shuttle service available for all.

Provides educational materials, services and consultation to individuals, agencies and organizations on lung disease, smoking cessation, pollution, asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, lung cancer, and other issues related to the lungs. Issues include, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety, relationship conflict, developmental concerns, prescription management, family communication and parenting issues. We offer two programs: Contra Costa Outpatient Pittsburg and Community Support Program (CSP). Outpatient offers services for mild and moderate psychiatric disabilities including weekly individual and group psychotherapy. CSP offers intensive services for severe psychiatric disabilities including case management, medication management, 24/7 hour crisis line, individual/group/family psychotherapy, housing/education/vocational support, peer support, and dual diagnosis treatment.
