The showers are closed from 9PM until after breakfast. Clean underwear , socks and hygiene kits are available at the showers. Clothes are also brought to the showers when available. Shower participants may also register for laundry program at the shower. The bathroom is cleaned and disinfected between each person.

The purpose of respite is to provide occasional, planned child care breaks to families in order to relieve some of the stress and responsibility that full-time care giving of children with special needs brings.
