Provides public transportation services for the East Bay, covering Alameda County and parts of West Contra Costa County. Service area: Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Freemont, Hayward, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Richmond, San Leandro, San Pablo, and the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco. Serves the unincorporated areas of Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, El Sobrante,Fairview, Kensington, North Richmond and San Lorenzo.

Provides a food pantry. Food boxes are located in the parking lot in front of the church. Clients who are able to do so, must drive up, and load food into their vehicle. Individuals unable to do so, may receive assistance from church members.

Discovers and assessing all property within the County, produces and delivers an assessment roll by July 1 of each year, values all real property, audits all entities doing business in the County and valuing all taxable personal property, establishes and maintains a set of 11,000 maps for assessment purposes, delineates every parcel of land in the County and provides a public information service to assist taxpayers with questions about property ownership and assessment including proposition 60 which provides for the transfer of property tax base for senior citizens. Provides screening, diagnosis, prevention and treatment services for STD including syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis and herpes. Legal immigration status is not a requirement to receive services.

Provides street outreach to individuals and families experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Contra Costa County. Services include; linkages to health and behavioral healthcare, direct placements into some shelters and warming centers, transportation to appointments for current CORE participants, document readiness and housing referrals, assessments, referrals to community resources (legal, basic need services, food pantries, etc.), emergency supplies such as water, blankets, and snacks.

Provides information and referral, general medical and dental services offered by appointment, STI and HIV testing, peer counseling, and hepatitis testing for high risk clients at no charge. Volunteer opportunities and community health education handouts are also available, call for information.

Provides adoption referral service for those who need to place or want to adopt a dog and/or a cat. Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP), provides low-cost veterinary clinic referrals, pet-friendly rentals list. Offers advice and referrals to low-cost veterinarians. Offers low-income families with supplementary pet food. CCHS does not handle lost/found animals, pick up stray animals or investigate cases of abuse & neglect.

Provides services across four areas (income, assets, wellness, and social connections) to low-income parents and those with a history of incarceration or probation seeking coaching, workshops, and assistance in obtaining employment, launching a career, building a budget, repairing credit, resolving legal issues, applying for public benefits, and becoming a better parent or neighbor. Additional services include, job readiness placement, on-the-job training, legal services addressing barriers to employment, financial education, debt repayment guidance, behavioral health services and referral, health education workshops, health insurance enrollment and navigation as well as social connections to support in building and maintaining a professional network.

Provides low-cost, sliding-scale individual and family therapy for survivors of domestic violence, as well as their friends and family. Also operates a dedicated Latinx Program offering in-depth case management for Spanish-speaking survivors as well as a 24-hour support line.

Provides comprehensive family planning services to eligible low income men and women who meet income guidelines and do not have insurance that covers family planning, or have insurance, but need to keep family planning services confidential, or have insurance but have not met the deductible or Medi-Cal Share of Cost, or have limited-scope Medi-Cal coverage that does not include family planning. Eligibility for teens is not based on parental income and by law parental consent is not required. Offers child kidnapping prevention, missing children location assistance, runaway/homeless youth helplines, specialized information and referral and conflict resolution. Provides professional services to defuse family conflicts that can lead to abduction and abuse such as: crisis intervention, conflict resolution, safety planning, and communication/parenting skill-building.

Provides employment, vocational and life skills services to at-risk youth and young adults. Services include tutoring in English and Math, GED scholarships, assistance with college applications, job search, resume assistance, mock interviews, entrepreneur workshops and counseling, life skills workshops, and referrals to community programs.

Administers three elementary and one middle school in Moraga. Programs and classes are available for special needs children, ages 0-22; call for information.

Thrift stores located in Pleasant Hill and Brentwood. Donations accepted at both locations. Client must contact church to inquire about funding for household goods. If funding is available voucher can be used in lieu of cash at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores.

Provides grant funding for qualified City of San Pablo residents to enroll in career training for construction and carpentry, information technology, barbering, and commercial driver's license. Awards financial aid for City of San Pablo residents enrolled in one of eight Career Technical Education programs at Contra Costa College and partially funds childcare for working residents through the college's Early Learning Center. In addition to funding career training, the San Pablo EDC prepares job seekers to attain and retain employment through free career development workshops, free business attire and financial education.
