Offers a specialized educational environment for preschool aged children who have experienced trauma and other stressor related challenges. Transition assistance is provided to all children graduating into TK/Kindergarten. Upon graduation from CTP, families are offered transition services which follow the child through TK/Kindergarten and first grade. Team works with the child caregiver and teach to support child's success in school.

Provides early intervention services for children ages 0-3 with developmental delays or who are at risk for delay, developmental and standardized assessments, weekly home visits by a professional staff of therapists and educators, and parent education and support. Provide intensive early intervention services to children 0-3 with autism spectrum disorders. Provides behavioral support services for school aged children and young adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders ages 3-22. All services are provided in the child's natural environment, including the child's home, family daycare homes, childcare centers, and other community sites (i.e. parks, library). Offers therapeutic services including occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech and language pathology.

Provides child and family therapy to support healthy attachment and healing for families after trauma. Available to families with children birth to 6 who have Contra Costa Medical. Offers home visiting or office visits, services available in English, Spanish, Portuguese. Language translation services available for other languages.

Provides services to young children, ages 0-5, who are deaf, hard of hearing or who have severe speech and language delays. Offers comprehensive programs in early education in combination with extensive therapy (language, speech, auditory, occupational, and physical therapies), home visits, and family education and support. Provides parent and child playgroups (12-36 months) which provide social interaction and organized educational activities designed to promote spoken language and sign language communication skills.

Provides mental health services to children and youth ages 5 through 18 who are East Contra Costa residents including early intervention for children and wraparound services.

Offers Great Beginnings program which provides early intervention services to children between the ages of 2 and 3 years old who have been identified as having some type of developmental delay. Program is 5 days per week from 9am to 1:30pm. Program includes interventions and strategies that reflect a respect for racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity, as well as unique family differences.

Provides a broad range of services to adults with psychiatric disabilities. Issues include, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety, relationship conflict, developmental concerns, prescription management, family communication and parenting issues. We offer two programs: Contra Costa Outpatient Pittsburg and Community Support Program (CSP). Outpatient offers services for mild and moderate psychiatric disabilities including weekly individual and group psychotherapy. CSP offers intensive services for severe psychiatric disabilities including case management, medication management, 24/7 hour crisis line, individual/group/family psychotherapy, housing/education/vocational support, peer support, and dual diagnosis treatment.

Provides a variety of programs that support and encourage children and adults with Down syndrome and their families including a parent support group, STEP programs with an educational, developmental, and recreational focus for children from infant through young adult. Provides outreach activities and public awareness.

Provides parent-centered services locally and globally to young children with hearing loss. Services include comprehensive pediatric audiological evaluations, a parent-infant program, auditory-verbal therapy services, family and parent support programs, counseling services, worldwide parent education, an auditory verbal preschool, as well as professional education, including a master’s degree program in partnership with Mount Saint Mary’s University Los Angeles.

Offers an early intervention program model that offers opportunities for individual learning within a natural group environment through the implementation of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) practices for children 18 months to 3 years with autism or at-risk for autism. Uses ESDM practices of daily routines and play-based activities to facilitate developmental sequences in young children with autism or at risk for autism similar to their typically developing peers. Aims to help minimize the developmental delays associated with early autism and increases young children’s developmental growth in the cognitive, social-emotional, communication, fine, and gross motor developmental areas. Service is provided in a classroom based environment and meets 5 days per week from 8:30am-12:00pm.
