Provides a broad range of therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Issues include, depression, bipolar, relationship conflict, marriage counseling, co-parenting, nutrition counseling, eating disorders, panic and OCD disorders, trauma, victim of crime counseling and parenting issues.

Offers support and education on a variety of issues including leadership engagement opportunities. Services include, time management, money management, networking opportunities and support groups. Participants are encouraged to engage and start a project which will address a need in their community; examples are nutrition, diabetes, psychical activity education, financial education, art or cultural issues. Participants attend for a year and receive a certificate of completion. Annually the center coordinates a legislative day in which participants visit legislative representatives in Sacramento.

Provides groceries to low-income individuals and families in West Contra Costa County once a month.

Enrolls youth ages 8-17, who reside in Richmond or nearby cities (San Pablo, El Sobrante, and El Cerrito) and who qualify for the free/reduced lunch program at their school, into the summer camp program. The camps offer various outdoor activities such as hiking, archery, climbing, biking, campfires, games, and more. Families must meet low income guidelines and pay a small registration fee to be eligible. Due to the ongoing safety concerns with COVID-19, some camp partners will require children to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending their session. Depending on the camp child is registered for, more information will be provided to the client. The cost includes transportation, lodging, and all meals for the camp session.

Provides qualified low-income households free energy education, installation of weatherization measures, and free energy-efficient appliances in order to reduce the household's gas and electricity usage and hardship.

Provides free, confidential, one-on-one basic instruction in reading, writing, and spelling to adults who can converse in English. Instruction is provided by trained volunteers. Provides non-medical in-home respite care for people with developmental disabilities, an illness, a physical disability or impairment that requires care in the home giving family members a break from the unique demands of caring for someone who is disabled or are disabled themselves. The care providers assist in all the tasks necessary to help a disabled or impaired person to stay in their home including activities that stimulate the mind and enhance physical well-being. Bay Respite Care administers two different respite programs: Full-Service Respite and Self-Service Respite. Only the Full-service Respite program is available in Contra Costa County.
