Provides daily service to BART, work, school, the doctor, the library, parks, movie theaters, shopping centers, grocery stores, recreation activities, as well as door-to-door service for seniors and individuals with disabilities, and Tri MyRide – an on-demand ride hailing shuttle service in select locations. All Tri Delta Transit buses are wheelchair accessible and equipped with wheelchair lifts/ramps. Serves eastern Contra Costa County (Antioch, Pittsburg, Brentwood, Oakley, Bay Point, parts of Discovery Bay and Knightsen), Concord, and Martinez with 16 local bus routes Monday-Friday and six on weekends and holidays. Concord and Martinez routes run Monday-Friday only.

Provides domestic violence intervention which consists of crisis and peer counseling, risk assessment, safety planning, domestic violence education, court accompaniment, legal advocacy and referrals, peer support groups and other related support resources for the clients and their family. STAND! has offices in Central, East and West counties, as well as services and shelters at confidential locations. Volunteers are used extensively.

Assists low and/or fixed income people in making their homes more energy efficient. Offers home improvements that will potentially reduce monthly energy costs which includes caulking, weather-stripping doors, repair or replacement of gas water heaters, stoves and/or refrigerators.

Provides basic needs where homeless individuals can have access to meals, mailbox, showers, phones and housing navigation. Offers case management services for homeless adults, transitional aged youth and families. Housing navigation is on a drop-in basis; first come, first served.

Provides services across four areas (income, assets, wellness, and social connections) to low-income parents and those with a history of incarceration or probation seeking coaching, workshops, and assistance in obtaining employment, launching a career, building a budget, repairing credit, resolving legal issues, applying for public benefits, and becoming a better parent or neighbor. Additional services include, job readiness placement, on-the-job training, legal services addressing barriers to employment, financial education, debt repayment guidance, behavioral health services and referral, health education workshops, health insurance enrollment and navigation as well as social connections to support in building and maintaining a professional network.

Offers weekly recovery support group for people living with mental illness in which people learn from each others' experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.

Provides administration over all Richmond city parks and recreational activities, aquatic facilities and community centers. A variety of classes are available for children, teens, and adults including art classes, dance and exercise classes, sports, summer camps and trips. Provides information on ballot initiatives, candidate filing, and voter registration; certifies the official lists of candidates to determining which types of voting systems are acceptable for use in California; advises candidates and local elections officials on the qualifications and requirements for running for office, provides guidance on choosing acceptable candidate ballot designations, and determines the order of the candidates on the ballot; Elections Division tracks and certifies ballot initiatives. If a state measure goes on the ballot, the Elections Division has verified that it has met the requirements for placement, coordinates the tabulation of the votes from each county on election night. Also has a comprehensive Voter Registration and Outreach Team that prints registration forms, encourages registration and voter turnout, and produces several voter information publications.

Offers free child care services to low income families with children birth to 5 years old including services to children with special needs. Provides prenatal education through the home based program. The Head Start and Early Head Start programs offer multicultural/multilingual play-based curriculum for children, center based and home based options, full day and part day slots available, parent education, mental health, and nutrition classes.

Operates 365 days a year with 6 full time investigators who are supported by professional staff. Serves as the investigative unit responsible for determining the cause and manner of death on all deaths in Contra Costa County. Medicolegal death investigations are conducted throughout the county on homicides, suicides, accidents, suspicious and unexpected deaths. Other duties include, notifying the next of kin, safeguarding personal property, collection of evidence, processing death certificates and overseeing indigent burials.

Offers individual, group, family and parents therapy to human trafficking and sexual assault victims. Provides play therapy for children and counseling for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Offers employment opportunities and on-the-job-training to the hard-to-employ and those experiencing employment barriers (unskilled, formerly incarcerated, substance abusers, etc). Open enrollment to job training is every six months, call for more information.

Serves as the primary source of poison information and treatment advice for all California residents. Specially trained pharmacists, nurses, toxicologists, and health care providers quickly answer calls. Provides personalized treatment advice and/or a referral for medical care. Website offers free education materials. There are no geographic restrictions in the state of California.

Manages public housing in the area, reporting office for public housing residents via phone, email, or fax.

Provides cancer patients and medical professionals with treatments approved by the National Cancer Institute; provides investigational medicines, cancer therapy, and patient support groups for low-income and under-served patients, and participates in nationwide cancer prevention research trials. Provides legal representation for indigent persons accused of crimes in Contra Costa County. Offers assistance with clearing prior criminal records through the Clean Slate Program. Provides rapid response, legal services, and community education project to support safety and justice for immigrant families through the Stand Together Contra Costa Program. Represents youth in long-term placement (group homes) and long term in-custody programs as well as youth in extended foster care proceedings through the Juvenile Justice Program. Provides legal assistance, information, and representation to individuals who have been arrested or cited for misdemeanor offenses from the time that they have had police contact through the Early Representation Program. Provides interdisciplinary case management and navigation services to individuals to ensure timely and coordinated access to a client-centered array of housing, behavioral health, transportation, and legal services at time of initial law enforcement contact. Provides community-based solutions to programs for alternatives to custody and develop re-entry plans by communicating directly with clients and members of their support systems. Works with clients to identify alternatives to incarceration such as substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment or connections with re-entry case management programs throughout Contra Costa County. Provides incarcerated, convicted, and sentenced individuals access to different kinds of post-conviction relief and resentencing, made available through recent state legislation.

Provides pill abortion services, birth control services, emergency contraception, HIV testing, HPV vaccines, LGBT services, men's health services, patient education, pregnancy testing, options & services, STD testing & treatment, and women's health services including breast and cervical cancer exams.
