Provides an adult day program for adults with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments. Participants bring a bag lunch, snacks and drinks are provided.

Provides a broad range of services to adults with psychiatric disabilities. Issues include, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety, relationship conflict, developmental concerns, prescription management, family communication and parenting issues. We offer two programs: Contra Costa Outpatient Pittsburg and Community Support Program (CSP). Outpatient offers services for mild and moderate psychiatric disabilities including weekly individual and group psychotherapy. CSP offers intensive services for severe psychiatric disabilities including case management, medication management, 24/7 hour crisis line, individual/group/family psychotherapy, housing/education/vocational support, peer support, and dual diagnosis treatment.

Offers Bright Beginnings program that is designed for children demonstrating a significant delay in communication and/or social skills, and who may or may not have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Speech therapy is provided weekly and there is an Occupational Therapist on staff for consultation. Program includes interventions and strategies that reflect a respect for racial, ethnic and cultural diversity, as well as unique family difference.

Provides non-emergency health care services for Contra Costa County residents including primary health care, prenatal care, dental care, health education, HIV/AIDS testing and counseling, assistance with Contra Costa CARES Program, Covered California and Medi-Cal applications. Offers urgent care services on a walk-in basis for medical conditions that require immediate medical attention but do not require hospitalization or are not life threatening. Provides income-eligible Contra Costa County residents with personalized energy upgrade recommendations and support. Participants can receive upgrades such as insulation, duct sealing, and air leak repairs, which can also help lower energy bills.

Administers the federal government website which provides information from various government agencies on what bullying is, what cyberbullying is, who is at risk, and how you can prevent and respond to bullying. Coordinates closely with the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention Steering Committee, an effort led by the Department of Education that works to coordinate policy, research, and communications on bullying topics. Due to the current pandemic all classes are held virtually.Provides free program in which tutors and learners work one-on-one or in small groups to improve learners literacy (ability to read and write). LEAP's purpose is to help adults develop the skills and confidence they need to achieve their individual goals. The program is sponsored by the Richmond Public Library.
