If eligible, individual must attend workshop as the first step in gaining assistance; the workshops usually take place on a Saturday for four hours. They provide detailed information for a participant to become NACA Qualified or mortgage-ready. Offers several youth programs for students of different ages for when school is and is not in session. All programs provide an environment where students learn through arts, crafts, social activities, and collaborations with other agencies providing services, while also receiving homework assistance from tutors and mentors.

Provides a safe home for youth whose circumstances do not permit them to live with their families or guardians. Each of the two Level 14 group homes is equipped to care for up to six residents with emotional and behavioral disabilities, who are constantly and closely supervised by dedicated teams of Teacher-Counselors. The staff are all trained in pediatric and adult First Aid/CPR and in Professional Assault Response Training (PART), and work in close collaboration with licensed clinicians.

Assists individuals with disabilities obtain and retain employment and maximize their ability to live independently in their communities by providing vocational rehabilitation services to eligible individuals and ADA technical assistance. Also provides training to businesses around diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Allows a parent or person with lawful custody to surrender a baby legally, confidentially and safely surrender their baby within 3 days of birth, without fear of arrest or prosecution for child abandonment. This law allows for at least a 14-day cooling off period, which begins the day the child is voluntarily surrendered. During this period, the person who surrendered the child can call EHSD and present the uniquely coded identification bracelet that was provided at the time of the safe surrender. At that time the persons situation will be assessed. Most hospitals, health centers and fire stations are designated sites. Website lists designated locations.

Provides information and referral on local resources and events for people and families concerned with Muscular Dystrophy and ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) including summer camps, clinics, support groups, clinical trials, latest research, events and more. Website has extensive information.

Provides 30-90 day residential drug and alcohol services for pregnant and parenting women. Services include assessment, treatment planning, addiction education, individual and group counseling, addictive family system education, pre-vocational skill building, specialized women's issues and health groups, parent education, child enrichment services and other perinatal related services.

Provides virtual support services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning communities including an on-site mental health clinic providing individual, couple, family counseling, and group therapy, a wide variety of peer groups, a youth peer group and drop-in center, HIV counseling and support and a large resource center.

Provides comprehensive low cost general dental care; fees may be 20% lower than those of many private offices in our immediate area. Dental services include fillings, dentures, crowns and bridges, root canals, oral surgery and limited periodontal work. Dental work is performed by students and residents under supervision of the University of Pacific faculty and staff. Services do not include orthodontics, extraction of wisdom teeth or treatment of patients who have had procedures started elsewhere.

Supported Employment: Offers a program which supports participants to obtain and maintain competitive integrated employment in the field of their choice. Participants receive individualized on-the-job coaching, including: full-time support through the training process that fades as the job and skills needed are learned; ongoing supports include advocacy with management; interpersonal skills in the workplace; learning new or additional work tasks; and managing stress.
