Provides an active social and recreational program for adolescents with special needs, age 7-22 years. To meet the daycare needs of working families, the program operates year-round and services are provided on shortened school days and non-school days. Program hours for regular school days are 2:30-6pm, shortened school days are 1-6pm and on non-school days 9-6pm.

Supported Employment: Offers a program which supports participants to obtain and maintain competitive integrated employment in the field of their choice. Participants receive individualized on-the-job coaching, including: full-time support through the training process that fades as the job and skills needed are learned; ongoing supports include advocacy with management; interpersonal skills in the workplace; learning new or additional work tasks; and managing stress. Employment Training Program: Provides a short-term program designed to provide participants with the skills, tools, and hands-on experience needed to gain competitive and integrated employment. In this program, participants will be supported to identify their desired job or career, hands-on learning and experience which will give skills necessary to be successful in that career, and job search support to get a job.

Offers Bright Beginnings program that is designed for children demonstrating a significant delay in communication and/or social skills, and who may or may not have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Speech therapy is provided weekly and there is an Occupational Therapist on staff for consultation. Program includes interventions and strategies that reflect a respect for racial, ethnic and cultural diversity, as well as unique family difference.

Investigates and prosecutes real estate related crimes. Criminal real estate crimes may involve home equity fraud, mortgage fraud, grand theft, securities fraud, forgery, foreclosure fraud etc.

Provides mental health services to children and youth ages 5 through 18 who are Central/South Contra Costal residents including early intervention for children and wraparound services. Special intervention for children under 5, call main number for information.

Provides individual counseling to residents of Contra Costa County who are age 55+. Counseling service is provided by trained volunteers who are 55+ and usually occurs in the home or at a senior center location, once a week for an hour, for a duration of 8-12 weeks. Groups are available for individuals dealing with similar challenges such as anger management, grief, parenting stress, trauma recovery, and more. All groups are facilitated by licensed clinicians trained in culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.

Provides needs based services which may include; utility and financial assistance, and vouchers for clothing that can be used in lieu of cash at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores for discounted clothing and furniture.

Provides a respite and services for low-income adults and/or homeless in the Walnut Creek area. Provides job and housing search assistance, mailbox, showers, clothing, a washer and dryer, case management, alcohol and other drug services, advocacy and assistance in accessing county, state and federal services, including SSI and Food Stamp benefits. Client in need of housing navigation ONLY, must contact other coordinated entry providers. Specializing in adult men and women limited services for families; no childcare is provided.
