Laundry program is in partnership with Lava Dora Laundromat at Clayton Rd. & Chestnut St. Clients must register as a new participant for this program, by attending a meal on Sunday or Monday. Once registered, participants will receive a numbered bracelet that the operators at Lava Dora will take and feed the appropriate size laundry machines for you. Each single-use bracelet has a value of up to $15. Detergent and fragrance-free Laundry soup is supplied by GROW and will be placed in the machine by the Lava Dora operator. Laundry may be done whenever the store is open.

Works with county mental health as a bridge between the system and explaining to families who are dealing with a family member 18+ and dealing with behavioral health issues. Services include assisting families in navigating the mental health system, answers questions regarding SSI and SSDI problems, benefits questions, rehabilitation programs, day programs, county housing resources, out of the county placements, and medication issues. Therapy and psychiatrist referrals in both the private and public systems. Meets with families within the county mental health system of care.

Due to Coronavirus COVID-19, limited in-person service. Services are available online, by phone, or walk-ins. Responsible for conducting all Federal, State, School, County, City and Special District elections in Contra Costa County. Provides voting information, including voter registration status, polling sites, registration, and other information related to voting. Performs the nomination process for any county office, handles the filing of arguments and rebuttals for county ballot measures, files county initiative and referendum petitions and files campaign statements and disclosure of financial interests for candidates running for a county related office. Exhibitions of contemporary Bay Area artists in all media are displayed. Outreach includes an Artists in Schools, a 12-week residency in Richmond schools. Clients can apply for CalFresh and MediCal, gather information about childcare and preschool options, record with Reach from Clerk-Recorder's Office, obtain a Covid-19 vaccine, sign-up for library cards, obtain weatherization information, register to vote, and obtain clean slate program information.

Offers an evidence-based long-term home visiting program that helps mothers with their first child. Due to the pandemic all visits are held online. Partners mothers with Public Health Nurses early in their pregnancy and offers two to four home visits per month that continue through her child’s second birthday. Public Health Nurses provide education to help women develop positive health behaviors during (and after) pregnancy, parenting education to support child health, development, and safety. Offer nursing assessments for early identification and monitoring of maternal and infant health status, encourages self-sufficiency by supporting parents attainment of their education and employment goals. Promotes supportive relationships among family and friends makes referrals to health and social service resources, in addition to care coordination with health and social service providers.

Offers a one day workshop for parents and teens on issues around drugs and alcohol. Class topics include the physiology of drug and alcohol use, laws, consequences and family communication and relationships. Parents and teens attend together.

Provides a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. The Emergency Broadband Benefit is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household. After December 31, 2021, modifications to the existing EBB program will take effect.
